This trem is really great! Bought it for my ibanez rg. It didnt fit the cavity of the edge and It took my luthier 4 weeks to make it work but it is amazing!! The brass block made the whole guitar sound more solid.

I swapped out my Ibanez LoPro TRS II on a 1995 Ibanez Jem that had worn out. I have a Floyd Rose Special on a Les Paul I own, but went for the extra $$ for this german version. The difference between the two in quality is substantial - though for a newer player or a cheaper guitar the Special is just fine if you add a brass block to it.

Is a Floyd Rose relatively easy to install on an American Strat with trem myself? Or, is it advisable to have GC install it. Is it an expensive additional cost? Thanks, John
