I would buy this Floyd rose again

I bought a new German made Floyd last year so when I got a new guitar with a Floyd rose special I decided to upgrade it with a new one. The new Floyd's are made in the USA, it's very smooth and still worth the upgrade. That said for some reason the r2 nut didn't line up perfect so I did need to redrill the holes no big deal, I could've left old nut on there. This a great product and I still love the Floyd rose.

Yes i have accomplished the impossible back in my teens! I always wanted a syn signature guitar and make it become an a7x only cover guitar, but the guitar is expensive and have a single guitar just for one purpose seems too much. But finally hearing about the D'tuna for the first time i thought it will be a gimmick, and im glad that is t the case! I can now finally play on my lovely schecter without adjusting any tuning to it! And if i want to go back to standard i can just press the button to do so. The D'tuna works like a charm. I love it so much! I will put it on all my floyd guitars
Definitely dont sleep on this!

My schecter C1 platinum FRS came with a special, now out of the box, the guitar is fantastic, however its that FR special thats holding it back! I have decided to finally give this baby the treatment it needs, i got her the FR original and the D'tuna and i have some titanium blockers laying around for the right moment. I took it to my local guitar shop and they patched upgraded her so much now the guitar not only stays in tune, but plays so well! You can actually hear and feel the difference as it will NEVER get out of tune even when you dive all the way through. Now my schecter doest feel like a 7-800$ guitar, its feels like a 1500$ guitar, topping the hellraiser series imo. Dont speep on replacing the tremolo system, as it truly adds to the value and playability of the guitar! I will be replacing even the 1000 series one on my solar cuz now i just cant play anything but the FR original with the titanium blockers.

would this fit on a hss fender Stratocaster
To determine if the Floyd Rose Original Series Tremolo Bridge with R2 Nut (Chrome) will fit an HSS Fender Stratocaster, we need to consider several key compatibility factors: 1. Bridge Route Compatibility The Floyd Rose Original requires a locking tremolo route, which is significantly different from the standard vintage-style or 2-point synchronized trem cavity found on most Stratocasters. Most stock HSS Stratocasters (especially Player Series, American Standard, or older models) do not come routed for a full Floyd Rose tremolo. If your Strat is not already routed for Floyd Rose, body modification (routing) will be necessary. 2. Nut Compatibility The R2 Nut has a width of 1-5/8" (41.3mm) and a string spacing of 1/8" (3.3mm). You’ll need to check the nut width of your HSS Strat. Most Fender Stratocasters have a 1.650" to 1.685" (42mm to 42.8mm) nut width, so the R2 might be slightly narrow. Installing a locking nut like the R2 also typically requires cutting into the neck or removing material behind the existing nut and drilling screw holes. 3. Neck Angle and Setup Floyd Rose bridges often require a shimmed neck or a body built with the correct neck angle for proper action and tremolo operation. Fender necks are typically flat-mounted and may not have the ideal angle without shimming. 4. Ideal Candidates You are most likely to succeed with this Floyd Rose if: Your Strat is already routed for a Floyd Rose (e.g., some Floyd Rose-equipped Fender models from the 80s/90s or Charvels/Jacksons based on Fender platforms). You're comfortable modifying the body and possibly the neck.submitted2 months ago

Would this fit in Kirk Hammett signatures series KH-202?
Stock Bridge on the KH-202 The KH-202 typically comes with a licensed Floyd Rose bridge, not a Floyd Rose Original. Licensed bridges are made to Floyd Rose specifications but may differ slightly in dimensions depending on the manufacturer (e.g., ESP's proprietary versions). Compatibility Checklist Stud/Post Spacing: Floyd Rose Original typically uses 74 mm post spacing. You’ll need to measure the post spacing on your KH-202. If it matches, it should fit without modification. Nut Size: The R2 nut has: Width: 1-5/8" (41.3mm) String spacing: .264" (6.7mm) The KH-202 generally uses an R2 or similar-sized nut, so this should be compatible as long as the neck width at the nut matches. Neck Angle and Routing: The KH-202 is routed for a Floyd-style bridge, but some routing modifications might be needed to accommodate the Original Series depending on depth and edge clearances. String Lock Screw Length: Original Floyd Rose bridges often have longer fine-tuner screws, which can sometimes bottom out on shallower routes. Installation Notes If you're replacing the licensed bridge with a Floyd Rose Original, it is often a drop-in replacement, but check the post spacing and routing depth. Conclusion Yes, the Floyd Rose Original Series with R2 nut can fit the KH-202, provided: The post spacing is 74 mm The nut width matches the neck The body routing is deep enoughsubmitted2 years ago
