No copy can duplicate the double-locking design of the Floyd Rose Tremolo System that allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and at the bridge. The Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge is engineered like no other tremolo system. Its high quality steel parts are manufactured to exacting specifications.

The Floyd Rose Original is produced in Germany and is their flagship model. The R3 Nut is designed for guitars with neck widths of 1-11/16" (42.90mm) and a 10" radius.

    This is the only tremolo I use, it's very well built, it works good with the strings I use, the strings last a long time without breaking

    Takes a nice chunk of time to install, but this particular model is the schaller made original floyd rose (OFR). 100% authentic and german made, the material it's made of is much higher quality than the OFR that came stock on my guitar.

    The ESP LTD M-201HT has a 43mm (1.69") molded nut and a 13.78" (350mm) fretboard radius . The Floyd Rose R3 locking nut measures 42.85mm (1.6875") in width with a 10" (254mm) radius While the width difference is minimal, the radius mismatch means the R3 nut is more curved than the M-201HT's fretboard. This could lead to uneven string action, particularly affecting playability on the outer strings. Additionally, the M-201HT is designed with a fixed bridge and lacks the necessary routing for a Floyd Rose tremolo system. Installing a Floyd Rose Original Series Tremolo Bridge would require significant modifications, including body routing and precise installation of the locking nut.

    Can't find any specs in the product description. I need the stud spacing and string spacing since this is on a Robin and the one on there now is a Kahler licensed Floyd. No telling if it will be a fit otherwise.

    Will this Floyd rose replace in a Gibson Les Paul with a Schaller floating tremelo already installed? Would I need to remove the regular nut and replace with the locking nut. The nut width is 1 and 3/4 inches. Thank you, Dan

    As long as it's licensed it shouldn't require routing and should drop right in.
