Ultralow-Noise Mic Pres and Flagship Converters for Flawless Signal Chain
The Scarlett 2i2 Gen 4 gives you a super clean signal path to capture all the subtle nuances of your sound. Its two natural-sounding Scarlett mic preamps have an ultralow-noise floor, enabling you to dial in plenty of gain without adding any unwanted artifacts. They handle everything from whisper-quiet vocals to pounding drums with pristine clarity. Scarlett's high-headroom converters, derived from Focusrite's elite Red range, recreate your sound with remarkable 120dB dynamic range and 24-bit/192kHz resolution. Every detail comes through with exceptional transparency. The improved conversion keeps your signal accurate as you track, mix and master.
Air Mode Brings Rich Harmonics and High-End Clarity
One of Scarlett 2i2 Gen 4's most exciting features is Air Mode, which models the desirable sonic qualities of a large-format recording console to make your recordings sound richer and more professional. With the Air switch engaged, it adds gentle tube-like harmonic saturation across the frequency spectrum, lending warmth and presence. Air Mode also brings out subtle high-frequency detail, resulting in clearer, more open-sounding vocals, acoustic instruments, cymbals and other treble-rich sounds. The enhancement feels analog and natural, not digital and artificial. Rediscover your tracks with Air Mode bringing out nuances you didn't know were there.
