I've had the same 2.5" leather strap since 1985 that I use on all my guitars, minus a few colorful D'Addario straps for fun. But my new Gibson Les Paul Standard 50's required a little more substantial strap. The Franklin 3" (seems wider) is perfect.
I would buy this again

This as a really good quality guitar strap for a good price. I have seen leather straps twice this price that aren't as nice.

High quality at a great price! I have one for my Rickenbacker 4003 and now one for my MusicMan Stingray. My first one is on my Fender Jazz bass. The leather is soft but strong. I never worry about it popping off.

I had just bought a 12 string acoustic guitar so I needed a strap for it. And I didn't want flashy. And I seen this and it looked and felt so professional. The padding is real soft as is the leather.
I would buy this again

I like my guitar to sit high on my shoulder because it's easier for me to play. Can this strap be shortened?
It goes down to 36"
