Decent strap for the $$

I've been considering a new strap for my 8# Strat. Saw this strap on sale @ 24.99. Levy's has been in the biz for years and this looked good, 3" wide, nice padding. Checked the reviews and someone said they were good for short players. Ordered a black one. Comfortable, it fits me, @ 5'6", well. If you're over 6' it might not work as well. I wear the guitar midway. Not high or low. I expect it will last me, the only spot I see that could be a problem is this ladder slot cut right at the right end of the pad. If Levy's looks at reviews leave this first slot out for a longer wearing strap.

The item was not what I expected

I love the fact that it was wide enough but padding was uncomfortable and material didn't feel soft enough nor felt like real leather.

    This strap is the exact length I need for guitar , but not long enough for bass. The padding, along with the 3" width, make it very comfortable on the shoulder. My only concern is the lack of stitching around the end hole of the smaller, adjusting end of the strap in terms of durability; I have bought several because of thir look, reasonable price, and my prior very satisfactory experience with Levy's.

    I bought this leather strap for my Gretsch guitar. It not only looks good on that big 'ol guitar but it feels good too. It's nice to have the width and support on the shoulder as it lightens the load.

However, due to the strap's thickness and padding, you may need to slightly enlarge the strap hole to ensure a secure fit. Schaller recommends a 10mm circular hole for optimal installation.
