I've wanted the black les paul custom ever since the Cult Sonic Temple album came out and I saw the picture of it on the cover of the album. This guitar is everything I dreamed of. Plays like butter, volume/tone knobs are very responsive, and it looks killer. It's awesome!!!

Been wanting to have a real Gibson Les Paul Custom since I played a copy back in high school. Over the years, I acquired and still own a collection of non-custom shop Gibson LPs including Junior, Special, Classic, Standard, and recently a wine red Supreme. While I love them all, non plays and sounds as good as the LP custom. This guitar just sings effortlessly. However, there were some minor quality issues I found out of the box. Tuning peg nuts were loose so was the three way switch (spinning), action was too high as well. Fixed easily. Just disappointed that at this price range, Gibson misses on trivial things like that. Otherwise, the instrument is perfect!!! Still give it all the stars I think it deserves!

I bought an Alpine White Custom Les Paul a few months back and have enjoyed everything about the guitar. The sound, playability, paint, binding features and hardware are all perfect. Recently I decided to buy the Ebony twin and can't add much in the way of variables, but the quality is consistent at every level which should be an asset for anyone buying a nice guitar. I also worked with my Platinum Sales Advisor through e-mail and by phone to cover my questions and to ensure the guitar met my satisfaction when it left Guitar Center. His direction and advise are much appreciated and I'm sure we will work together again. So, if you want a beautiful Custom Les Paul you won't be disappointed by either the Alpine White or the Ebony.
A Beautiful Custom Alpine White

The Custom Les Paul stands out for very obvious reasons. I own two other great Les Paul's but the Custom stands out in many ways. The finish on the neck, front and back are beautiful and the front and back binding is perfectly done. The black pinstriping on the binding is a nice touch which makes a nice frame on the headstock. The gold plating is very well done and is as beautiful on the white as the black Custom. The volume and tone controls are very responsive with even the smallest adjustment in level and the sound is incredible and just gets better with the addition of pedals. Overall, this is a beautiful guitar that anyone would be proud to own. I've heard many criticisms of Gibson's quality control but there is no lack of quality workmanship on this guitar. Nice job Gibson Custom Shop.

I play schecter almost exclusively, but my dream was to get one of these since I was little. This guitar can do absolutely anything, and feels just magical in your hands. I can't believe the quality and just, sheer beauty of this guitar. In person it's even better looking, a picture simply doesn't do it justice. If you have the money, It's worth it.
Great guitar!

How much does the guitar weigh? Only the guitar.
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. This will be approximately 7.5 – 9.0 lbssubmitted5 years ago
