Gibson

collapse expand iconDescription

The Gibson ES-330 hollowbody electric guitar is a versatile, vintage-inspired instrument with a rich history. Known for its distinctive sound and comfortable playability, the ES-330 has garnered a reputation as a favorite among musicians. Sharing a similar design to the Epiphone Casino, the ES-330's fully hollow thinline body is constructed from 3-ply maple/poplar/maple, offering warmth and resonance. Whether you're on stage, in the studio or simply enjoying the guitar acoustically at home, the ES-330 delivers a smooth, rich tone that has been cherished by players for decades.

Resonant Hollowbody With Timeless Aesthetic

The ES-330's fully hollowbody is designed for supreme resonance and tonal warmth. The trapeze tailpiece and deep-set neck create an optimized bridge location for superior sustain and dynamic response. Available in classic finishes like Sixties Cherry, Tobacco Sunburst and Antique Natural, this guitar is not only a tonal powerhouse but also a visual masterpiece. The single-ply cream binding on the top, back and fretboard adds a touch of elegance, giving the ES-330 a timeless aesthetic.

Classic P-90 Pickups for Vintage Tone

Equipped with a pair of Dogear P-90 pickups, the ES-330 offers bright, clear clean tones and snarling, gritty overdrive when pushed. The P-90s are handwired to 500k potentiometers and feature Orange Drop capacitors, ensuring that the guitar's dynamic range is preserved. Whether you're playing jazz, blues or rock, the ES-330 delivers a wide range of tones that are both articulate and powerful.

Comfortable Playability With Rounded C Neck Profile

The ES-330's mahogany neck features a comfortable Rounded C profile, paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. With 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 24.75" scale length, this guitar offers smooth playability across the entire neck. The combination of vintage deluxe tuners with white buttons and a Graph Tech nut ensures stable tuning and accurate intonation.

A Guitar for Any Setting—Stage, Studio or Home

The ES-330's rich, resonant tone makes it perfect for stage and studio use, while its fully hollowbody design means it can also be enjoyed unplugged as a "couch guitar." Whether you're recording, performing or songwriting, the ES-330 delivers a warm, inspiring sound that has made it a classic in the Gibson catalog.

I had a Korean made Casino that I enjoyed. I decided to upgrade it to this E-330 and it sounds and plays exceptionally. I love the P09's with that hollow sound sound.

Hi, I see you have a few ES-330 "blemished" open boxes. I was hoping to get more details on the "blemish"— what is the issue? Are there pictures? I'm most interested in the red, but open to other colors if there is a less damaged one? Thanks!

I’m sorry, we don’t know what the blemish is. The blemishes will be perhaps minor scratches, average handling wear. There will be no effect on playability or sound. Unfortunately, we have no additional photos available. These are not in a central location. For details, please contact the individual store.
