Gibson ES-339 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Cherry

Description
Gibson's ES-339 semi-hollowbody electric guitar offers musicians a winning combination of resonant tone and sleek playability. Its semi-hollow maple and poplar body resonates with woody character, enhanced by dual '57 Classic humbuckers that conjure vintage PAF tone. A rounded C-shaped mahogany neck and 12" fretboard radius play fast and familiar.
Dual '57 Classic Humbuckers Channel Iconic Gibson Tone
The ES-339's dual '57 Classic humbucking pickups deliver warm, harmonically rich tone reminiscent of Gibson's 1950s PAF humbuckers. With vintage-accurate specs and construction, '57 Classics capture the depth, dynamics and musicality of Gibson's golden age. They handle everything from articulate cleans to raunchy rock leads with ease.
Resonant Semi-Hollow Maple and Poplar Body
A lightweight maple and poplar body gives the ES-339 a resonant, woody voice. Its semi-hollow design minimizes feedback at high volumes yet produces ambient tone with subtle acoustic properties. A maple top further enhances articulation and note definition. The ES-339's body is comfortable to play during long sessions, ideal for musicians of smaller stature or those simply preferring a more compact instrument.
Fast, Familiar Rounded C Neck Profile
The ES-339's rounded C-shaped mahogany neck has a slim, fast feel familiar to most guitarists. Its 12" radius rosewood fretboard facilitates smooth bends and low-action playing. 22 medium frets extend the range to cover a wide variety of musical styles. The neck's moderate depth provides stability under the fingers without feeling bulky.
Robust Hardware and High-Performance Upgrades
Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons provide rock-solid tuning stability. A Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece anchor the strings and transfer vibration efficiently. High-quality pots and caps are wired to a three-way pickup selector switch, individual volume and tone controls for versatile tonal shaping. All hardware is finished in nickel, complementing the ES-339's transparent ebony finish. Now available at Guitar Center, pick up your ES-339 Gibson today.

This is a really great guitar, it is a smaller version of the 335, and is the perfect size for my taste. If you are familiar with Gibson's then you already know how great the quality is. The only question to decide is if you can afford it because I promise you will love it if you get one. The fact that it comes with its custom case is also a plus

Will 13-56 gage strings work with ES339?
You can. They're a bit heavy and you may want to redo your set up but you can certainly do it.
