Description
The Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s Faded electric guitar takes players back to the Golden Era of Gibson’s innovation, offering the rich tones of the original Les Paul with a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This faded aesthetic gives the guitar a naturally worn-in look, perfect for players who want vintage tones paired with a modern, broken-in feel. With its blend of mahogany warmth and AA figured maple top brightness, the 50s Faded captures the essence of the original Les Paul sound.
Rich Mahogany Body With Figured Maple Top
The Les Paul Standard 50s Faded features a solid mahogany body for warm, resonant tones. Topped with AA figured maple, the guitar offers enhanced clarity and a striking visual appeal. The rounded 50s-style neck profile provides comfort and a familiar feel for those who prefer vintage-style necks. Paired with a rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets, this guitar feels as great as it sounds.
Burstbucker Pickups Deliver Classic PAF Tones
Equipped with Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups, the 50s Faded delivers the coveted PAF-style tone that defined the Les Paul. These pickups offer rich harmonics, well-balanced output, and dynamic response for players seeking everything from smooth blues to high-gain rock tones.
Aged Satin Finish for a Vintage Look
The satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish adds a vintage touch, giving the guitar the appearance of a well-played instrument. This thin finish not only enhances the guitar’s resonance but also adds a natural, aged look that appeals to players seeking that vintage aesthetic.
Ideal for Players Seeking Classic Les Paul Feel
With its vintage-inspired design, powerful Burstbucker pickups, and faded finish, the 50s Faded is perfect for players looking for an authentic Les Paul experience. This guitar combines classic Les Paul tone with the timeless appeal of a worn-in finish, making it ideal for those who appreciate tradition.

Punches Way Above its Weight

Looked at Les Pauls for months after playing a tribute. I liked the natural woody feeling it had. I played tons of standards and a modern but sent them back. This came in with a gorgeous natural top, and outclasses them all. QC on this build is unusually good. Mine is lightweight too!

Are you locked in to the bustbucker pickups because I like this guitar with finish but I'd prefer the Gibson 70's style pickups instead.
That's not available on a 50's spec.
