Custom Slash Neck Profile for Fast, Comfortable Playing

The Slash J-45 features a custom-shaped neck with a rounded profile for chording and soloing with ease. A flatter 16" fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets produce an ideal playing feel for intricate lead work. The rosewood fingerboard and belly bridge provide a warm, balanced tone.

Solid Mahogany Back and Sides for Resonant Tone

The J-45's all-mahogany construction using solid tonewoods produces a warm and balanced tone with clear mids, tight lows, and crisp highs. Two-piece mahogany back and sides provide resonance and projection suited for any playing style. The solid Sitka spruce top enhances articulation and responsiveness.

Appointed With Slash's Personal Touches

Exclusive to the Slash Core Collection are Slash's "Scully" signature on the headstock, Slash's signature on the truss rod cover, and four Slash Jim Dunlop Tortex picks. Additional appointments include six in-line tuners, a tortoiseshell pickguard, and Slash's "Skully" emblem engraved on the truss rod cover.

    Beautiful looking guitar, cut through resonance! Very disappointed on the action(strings a way to far off the fret! I ordered online,Not what I expected from Gibson! And the Guitar center tech was no help whatsoever!

    I finally gave in, having been on the bubble buying a J 45 for a long time. The Slash version is just a bit more over the top, but the Vermillion color is amazing when you have it in your hands. And it rings so loud, you wonder why the ever made it electric also! This is a gorgeous guitar with all the hype being completely true. If you want one, and can afford it, don't put it off like I did.
