This bass is beautiful and as a beginner, I find it easier to hold and play than the larger basses available. I love it.

I didn't plan on purchasing a bass when I went in today. They just happened to have everything we wanted with this one. It's exactly what we were looing for. It's also half what I expected to pay. For the price, this is an excellent bass. I thought I'd be limited to the other popular options. #sweepstakes

I'm a guitar player that uses a bass for home recording. I had a slightly cheaper bass.. sharp frets ends, poor pickups, etc., hard to play and decided to give this a try. I was very surprised by the quality, sound and playability. Out of the box, the set up was almost perfect.. neck relief, string height, pickup height all dead on. Intonation on the G and D was only a hair off. The pickups sound very nice, nice fret work.. just a pleasure to play and it's beautiful as well. Highly recommend for the price. Maureen at GC in Cherry Hill, NJ was a pleasure to deal with.

I'm a guitar player but I've always wanted to try bass. I was on the lookout for a short scale bass and out of all of them this one just felt the most natural. It's a smaller body and doesn't feel much larger than a guitar which is what I was looking for. Honestly have not been able to put it down. Fun to play and not too awkward compared to the full sized basses. #sweepstakes

this bass was well constructed and needed minimal setup, (just lowered the E and A strings) smooth neck and clean fret edges. Switched the strings to flatwounds, a personal preference.
