collapse expand iconDescription

The Starfire I Jet90 from Guild combines the classic Starfire body shape with the slick, rugged aesthetic of Guild’s vintage headstock. Three Guild Franz P90 pickups anchored to a chambered mahogany center block have this 6-string electric primed for any genre, from crisp, vintage jazz tones to open-throttle overdrive. The six-way rotary switch allows players to dial in their preferred P90 combination for the right amount of bite to any riff, while switch position indicator pins (in the style of 1950’s Guilds) help keep the player on track. The Starfire I Jet90 comes equipped with a Guild Vibrato Tailpiece and Tune-o-matic bridge for added tonal expression and range of playability.

I cannot say enough good things about the quality, construction, fit, and finish of this guitar. It plays beautifully. Fast neck and classic tones for days. I was looking for a P-90 guitar and this one checked a lot of boxes for a great price. Highly highly recommend.

Yes it is big, but mine is pretty manageable at 7 1/2 pounds. It plays great and has a wide range of tones available with the trio of P90's. The Guild Bigsby holds its tune and works well. You can easily go from Jazzy to chimey to a warm crunch. The six way rotary switch takes a little time to adjust to but it offers a great set of tonal options. Guild really nailed it with this guitar .Love it.

As far as astetics, this one takes the cake, gorgeous Finnish, 3 warm clean sounding P90s and exactly what I have been looking for. If your a Pedal junky like me, this hollow body makes them come to life even more than my American jazzmaster! Great work Guild!

The headstock I'm not a fan of it. If it was like a fender where it curves out I would like. Other than that, it looks like a nice guitar and I love 3 pickups with a vibratoe. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Guild Starfire Jet P90 Guitar with three Guild Franz P90 Soapbar pickups controlled by a six-way rotary switch provides a wide selection of tone control which includes humbucking noise capability for ultimate sound control from smooth jazz tones to crisp rock and roll. The Guild vintage tuning machines accurately keep this beautiful guitar in tune. With the addition of a tune-o-match bridge, the action is comfortably low and the intonation is spot-on. The Thin-U neck neck has a smooth finish and is most comfortable even after playing for hours. With the arm swing out of the way style, the Guild Vibrato Tailpiece adds a great look and provides a solid feel. While the guitar did not come with a gig bag, there is one available is an option. The Guild Starfire Jet P90 semi-hollow electric guitar has the look and feel of a more expensive instrument. I would purchase this guitar again.
