5 stars! As a beginner, I couldn't be happier with this guitar. The action is smooth and easy to play, and the tone is absolutely fantastic. Feels and sounds like a much more expensive instrument, highly recommend!

  • Yes, I would buy this product again

I have the Surfliner Sunset Orange guitar and it plays very well. I really like the beefy neck this guitar offers and it feels very comfortable making chords. I put on 11 strings for a deeper tone and raised the pickups to give it a fuller drippy sound when play surf and rockabilly music. Great guitar!

  • Really cool guitar for the price!

This is a really cool guitar! I really didn't expect how great sounding it would be. I don't own it, but I played a used one for like 30 min in-store. The neck is really nice and smooth. No fret buzz even when strumming hard. Sounds great playing clean, distorted, and with fuzz. Stayed in tune really well. The body is comfortable. I feel like I would have to get the deluxe version though because a surf style guitar needs a trem!

  • Great with a little tweaking!

Unboxed this bad boy today was impressed immediately. I bought the white sage and love the color. The pickups on this guitar really do sound incredible. Definitely no need to upgrade them (I tend to do this on a lot of guitars I buy). I love the thicker C neck on it and the three pickup switches. Switches are easy to change on the fly and work great. The only two tweaks this guitar needed were smoothing a rough neck, and buffing out the frets. Used steel wool on the whole neck and now it's perfect. The frets are pretty rough (sound like sandpaper when bending notes) but nothing a 20 minute fret work session won't fix. Very impressed with this guitar and it is definitely a keeper!

  • Such a cool throwback look

I love playing this guitar at home and on stage. I constantly get compliments on the guitar and it comes in some super freakin' cool colors. I'm tempted to buy one in every color. You will not be disappointed in this guitar in any way!
