Great little travel guitar

I picked up one of these recently and overall I am very happy with it. I had been wanting a travel guitar for quite some time but wasn't in the market for something crazy expensive and several of the other travel or mini guitars i have come across still had a fairly good sized boy on them. This is nice with the VERY small body and full size neck. The pick up sounds fine, not great - a tad muddy, but rocking none the less. The neck has a decent feel to it. Super easy to travel with, i schlepped mine back from Europe with zero issue. The gig bag is comes with is very handy, but doesn't provide a ton of protection (i pack T-shirts around the guitar inside the bag for added protection. lol OK - so that all being said, there are a couple things that need to be pointed out. CHANGE STRINGS RIGHT AWAY. The strings that come on it are trash, will not stay in tune and are super crazy light. I went to some 10 gauge slinky and it stays in tune and sounds awesome now. The strings are a bit high, so some adjustments will need to be made by the new owner or the shop when you get it. Beyond that, for the $$$, it's a great choice.

Can be a decent product if manufacture had Some QC

For the price, I didn't expect it to be top quality regarding sound, electronics and materials. However, I do expect some form of quality control before approving item for sale. The fretboard had a groove on the 5th fret. The pick guard, pickup, strap plugs were all screwed in incorrectly. Screws were inserted on an angle and stripped out. If the manufacture took a little pride in workmanship this product would be awesome for the price.

Bought it just to have something to keep my fingers in shape when out of town. There has to be better options than this. I know it is inexpensive and all, but, it is just about unplayable. Just say no! won't GET in tune must less stay in tune...it really is bad....I mean it....don't do it.

Just got this today so this is initial impression, I'll update down the road if need be. Unpacked this today, tuned it up and started playing. It is awkward to hold and play due to it being neck heavy but not so much as to make this a bad purchase. Pickup is solid for what this is, A travel practice guitar. If I would ever plan to play this regularly, maybe I would upgrade it. I got the blue and the headstock is black vs blue as shown in the picture. Gigbag isn't super padded So i might throw some more padding in there or put it in a padded gun case but not sure I want to bring that to the airport. Changing strings looks like a bit more of a pain but I understand why it is designed that way to save space. Overall fun little guitar I hope to bring on the road a lot.

I really like this travel guitar. This guitar is easy to transport and has a full size neck. Great for practice. I take mine to work and easily stored away. A little awkward but overall easy to find comfortable playing positions. Single humbucker sounds decent and does the job. Fit and finish are decent, was a small blemish in the paint on the back but for the price who cares, made to use. Even comes with a nice little gig bag.

  • I'm happy I bought this product.

It's really cool how small it is. I take it with me everywhere to practice. I just have a hard time with standing up with it cause i have to hold it up with the neck. Other than that I really love it. It's fun to play.

    Hi,
I am on your website and would like to purchase a black Hofner Shorty guitar with bag. According to your website it is AU$214.67 which can be paid via pay pal.
My question is I DON't need it delivered but I would like my son to pick it up from your Los Angles branch. Is this possible? He is studying in LA and it's his birthday in a few days . Please let me know we can do this and of course if you have stock of them in the Sunset Blvd store. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you.
