Can this gig bag hold headless and the BTB Ibanez basses?
The Ibanez IBB651 POWERPAD Bass Guitar Gig Bag is designed to accommodate most standard full-size bass guitars, but there are caveats when it comes to headless basses and BTB series basses: BTB Series Basses BTB basses are longer and have a wider body with extended upper horns. They also have 35" scale necks (vs. 34" standard), making them longer overall. While the bag may technically zip shut around one, it will likely be a very tight fit, potentially putting stress on the zipper or padding—not ideal for long-term use or protection. . Headless Basses Headless basses are shorter in total length, so while they will fit dimensionally, the bag’s padding and internal supports won’t line up well. The instrument may move around inside the bag unless you add extra internal padding. If you're using a BTB or a headless Ibanez: Consider a larger gig bag like the Ibanez IBB924-BK (more premium, designed for BTB and premium models). Or go with a universal/oversized padded bass gig bag from Mono, Gator, or Gruv Gear for better protection and fit.
