Jackson

collapse expand iconDescription

The JS Series Kelly JS32T has an offset poplar body and a bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement for rock-solid stability. Hosting 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, the 12”-16” compound radius fully bound rosewood fingerboard creates the ideal playing surface for fast riffs and easy chording near the black plastic nut while gradually flattening in the upper registers for lightning-quick solos and wide bends without fear of fretting out.

A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets cranks out clear tone with plenty of girth, and can be shaped with a three-way toggle switch and single volume and tone controls. The Kelly JS32T also features a thru-body-strung tune-o-matic bridge and die-cast tuners.

This product was pretty good! I got this awhile back, it just needed some setting up but after that it was amazing! It has a little fret buzz but not that noticeable. If you're in need of a budget metal shredder this is a solid choice. #sweepstakes

All I needed to do was tune it up when it arrived - the action is low, smooth and buttery and consistent up and down the neck. The finish is flawless, and the pickups are pretty good for stock. It's the only one of my guitars that I've played since it arrived, and I've run it through a 100W Katana, and old Crate GFX65, and a Joyo Zombie II through a small cab. Great value, especially at its current price. For comparison, I also have a Schecter Demon 6, a Fender Strat, a Kramer Baretta, an Ibanez Falchion, an Agile 3200, and a Charvel Model 2. So far, I really love THIS one.

I recently upgraded from a Rogue Rocketeer and all I have to say is this guitar plays and sounds great for the price. Ive had issues with it sliding on my leg a little bit in the beginning but after getting used to the right placement it doesn't move. I play thrash metal from bands such as exodus, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica and testament and this guitar is honestly great for this genre. Only complaint is that since its black you can see all the dust but that's easily fixable by wiping it down every other day.

  • I would not buy this for a beginner

I really love this guitar but without a doubt it has both pros and cons. The main con is that due to its satin finish and unbalanced body shape it slides around sitting down a lot. When you put a strap on it and stand up it's almost impossible to play due to neck dive(easily moddable). Now for the pros the neck is amazing, the js series all share the same neck and Jesus it's a surprisingly fun and fast neck(probably the most comfortable cheap guitar neck I've played). The pickups are chunky and if you want to push them they will PUSH HARD. Oh I almost forgot one last con the tuners on mine personally are really really bad. I bought this guitar for a project so I don't mind much but if you want a js series for your first guitar buy a strat style or something more comfortable.

All black, Mine resembles this model but instead of the half triangle inlays in the fret board. This has dots in the inlays and chrome action tune nuts and chrome serial plate on back with same Jackson headstock. Would I have this same model or is there a different one with those specifications

Is it just the black model that has the strap pin under the neck, or does the viola burst also have that? (the viola burst picture shows the strap pin next to the neck, not underneath...)

It's the way Jackson shows them. "https://www.jacksonguitars.com/gear/shape/kelly/js-series-kelly-js32t/2910124595"
