Developed specifically with the Smooth Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Rock and Funk player in mind, the SUPER JET Tenor is a very contemporary sounding mouthpiece with many characteristics that JodyJazz has not offered in a Tenor model previously.

The Silver-Plated virgin bell brass gives the SUPER JET a crisp clean brightness that can get very funky and dirty because the piece really vibrates due to the beak design. It's going to give you more cutting power, more edge, more volume and more altissimo but is also beautifully free-blowing with enough bottom in the sound to make it more versatile than many mouthpieces in this category of small chamber pieces.

Made to the strictest quality standards at the JodyJazz factory in Savannah, GA using five-axis CNC technology, the SUPER JET Tenor features a hand-crafted baffle, thin tip rail and side rails for that instantaneous response that JodyJazz is famous for. Every single mouthpiece is fully gauged and play tested by experienced professionals before it leaves the factory. Tip Opening 6 (0.090")

Currently I am using aTheo Wanne Durga for Tenor Saxophone. When I got word about the Super Jet, I decided to give it. try. This mouthpiece is simply amazing. If you are looking for a mouthpiece that has power and projection but at the same time gives you warmth, this is the one. I highly recommend this mouthpiece. I still use my Durga but only for certain styles of music. Hats off to Mr. Espina and his staff for making a great mouthpiece. I'm looking for a Super Jet for the Soprano Saxophone.
