Description
There is an iconic old show biz introduction that goes something like, "And now, an artist who needs no introduction..." Well, the King 3B tenor trombone needs no introduction. It is among the most iconic instruments in jazz, sitting alongside the Selmer MK VI saxophone and the King Constellation trumpet as the tools that were used to define jazz horn playing throughout the 20th century.
The King 3B Legend Trombone has been the preferred trombone by studio musicians and professional jazz players for decades. The King 3B features a .508-inch bore and nickel silver outer hand slide for excellent projection and open upper register. The 3B also features an 8-inch bell with a taper that offers a quick response with a subtle brilliance. This instrument merits serious consideration by any serious player seeking to find a horn they can live with for a long time. Its lightning-fast slide action and tremendous agility revolutionized both trombone playing and trombone manufacturing when it was first introduced, and it remains a gold standard for professional trombonists the world over.
Available in a variety of configurations including a lacquered finish on your choice of a yellow brass or gold brass bell, or silver plated finish on a sterling silver bell with the available option of a beautiful gold trim. Select these options from the dropdown menu.

Hi there Guitar Center! I wanted to reach out regarding the King 3BG. I believe it says on your website that you don't have it in store (which is fine) but I'm just seeing if there were any places in which I could try one out before I really think about buying. AKA is there an instrument drive in which a 3BG will be in Colorado or another nearby store perhaps?
I’m sorry, but no.
