PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS
This is my first uke and I absolutely love it! Prior to buying I did a lot of online research and watched a countless number of videos about this product. when I first received the uke it was completely out of tune and it took a couple of days and tunings for it to hold its tune which is normal. Other than that I love it! It sounds like something a professional would play at a cheap price and is perfect for beginners.

A good value. You get what you pay for.
I bought this for my nephew as we were all going on a family vacation and I wanted to give him a Uke for his birthday. It arrive about 5 days before we left. It was completely out of tune and took a long time to get it in tune. The tune then kept slipping almost instantly. I believe it was just the strings stretch and I tried to manually stretch them.I put a Snark tuner on it and tuned it up everytime I walked by it. After about 3 days the tuning became more stable. So I believe you just have to be patient. My nephew, who is in his early 20s, loves it and the tone is more than adeuate for his use. I have a Gretsch 9121 and it does sound substantially better but this was significantly cheaper and seems to meet his current needs. I'm sure if he keeps at it he will want to step up to a better model at some point but it's very adequate for learning. The construction seems sound. it's not going to fall apart.

Takes a long time for the strings to stretch out and stay in tune but eventually they do. Was finally staying in tune after a few weeks. Bought 2 more and had the same experience but now all 3 stay in tune and sound good.

This ukulele was for my son who is 14. He absolutely loves it! It holds its tone very well and seems very sturdy. And he loves that it is yellow :)
