What could be more fun than a Tiki Ukulele? Kolohe (the mischievous rascal) has turned the world upside down with these ukuleles. The completely amazing Tiki bridge is just the start. The Kohala Tiki Soprano Ukulele is made with all Linden wood and comes in a variety of colors with a durable satin finish. It features postion markers on both sides of the fretboard, making it perfect for both righties and lefties. Just switch the strings around and go.

The soprano size, also known as standard size, is the traditional body size of the ukulele. The soprano is perfect for players with smaller hands and its small size gives it a bright crisp tone.

Tuner cranks are garbage. Had to swap them out to keep it in tune. Cheaper to do that than return it.

After learning some basics on friends' ukuleles, I decided to purchase my own. I got the tiki bridge, because I thought it would be nice. It was! Thing is, the rest of the instrument was completely terrible. The paint chips extremely easily. Accidentally hit anything, and the finish, which is very cheap paint, is at risk. The logo on top also began to wear away after a month or two. The frets and fretboard are made terribly. The sides, which are made of some cheap plastic, bulge out (see pictures). Some of them even started to crack! The fingerboard was also extremely dry and rough, it was very cheap rosewood if it was at all. The soundhole was extremely rough and obviously hadn't been sanded. The entire construction was just terrible, even to the point that notes went super sharp even at the first fret. I didn't expect too much from such a cheap ukulele, but I hoped I could at least get something playable. You can't always get what you want, I guess.

Stay away from this product, a piece of junk. the one I ordered arrived busted and you could see how cheaply made it was by the way it came apart. This was to be a Christmas present and it arrived two days before Christmas busted and I was basically screwed out of a present and they would not consider rushing anything out at this point.

  • Received wrong color.

I did not receive the color I ordered. It was supposed to be blue but I received a black one. The paperwork also confirmed that I had ordered blue. It was two days before Christmas and no time to return.
