Kramer Pacer Classic Electric Guitar Purple Passion Metallic

Description
The Kramer Pacer Classic electric guitar brings back the lightning-fast fury of the iconic '80s original. Kramer has reissued their legendary Pacer model with premium components guaranteed to make a statement when you take the stage. The Pacer Classic's alder body and maple neck provide a balanced tone with crisp highs, tight lows and scooped mids perfect for metal and hard rock.
Lightning-Fast Neck Built for Speed Demons
The Pacer Classic's maple neck features a 12" radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets, allowing for low action and effortless shredding. A slim taper C-profile neck provides comfort for all playing styles. The 25.5" scale length offers tight, articulate lows and chimey highs.
Powerful Pickups Deliver High-Output Crunch
A pair of double white open-coil Alnico Classic 5 humbucking pickups provide the high-output crunch and searing leads the Pacer Classic was built for. Each pickup has an independent volume control, allowing you to blend the pickups to your taste. Roll back the volume on the neck pickup for a brighter bridge pickup tone or turn up both pickups for a full, thick sound.
Iconic Tremolo System for Divebombs and Squeals
A licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge provides the same divebombing, screaming tremolo action that Kramer Pacers are known for. The Floyd Rose system uses a locking nut and bridge to keep the guitar in tune even under heavy tremolo use. Bend notes up a full step and divebomb to your heart's content without going out of tune.
Premium Components and Construction
The Pacer Classic features premium components like die-cast tuners, chrome hardware and a matching painted headstock. Kramer's expert craftsmanship and attention to detail result in an instrument that not only looks the part of an '80s shred machine but plays like one too.

The value and quality is unmatched
Always wanted a Kramer guitar. The Floyd Rose tremolo system, the quality of the wood, and electronics (including the switches, knobs and pickups) for the price is too affordable for me at the time to not leave the store without the purchase. The music book I bought had a transcription of the solo for Free Bird that I've only seen in a magazine by the same author and publisher, so of course that book was also purchased. I have been searching for it online and on digital guitar tab websites and apps, but I could not find an accurate document that I remember seeing in the magazine from years ago.

Bad guitar!!!
I bought this guitar thinking it was like to older white pacer....Wrong! First, the good, the paint job is beautiful, trem stays in tune nicely. Pickups are ok. Now the bad, the neck says its medium jumbo frets... these are the tiny ones. The older white one has medium jumbo, and the new ones are not even close. The selector switch is not grounded, and hums. When both volumes are off you can still here strings are hot. Kramer really dropped the ball on what could have been a great guitar..

I was very excited to get this guitar in metallic red. The packaging job was good, but when I tried to tune it, the strings were making a "tink" sound, which I had to go to my local guitar center to find out what was wrong with it, and the bridge was not level, and the neck was bending back a little bit. I have to go back to the Guitar Center to get it repaired.

I use this guitar for a lot of stuff. Only problem is that the tuning is mid.
Good guitar for the $, but poor setup.

After spending a couple hours ripping it apart and setting it up, it plays great and stays in tune even if you really beat on the trem. The setup kinda sucked though. Lowered action a 1/2 turn, fixed pickup alignment issues, adjusted trem springs so bridge parallel to body, and finally intonation was sharp on all the strings. I think it was a store demo, so maybe fresh stings a little different tensions than factory ones. Plays nice now. If you're not techie enough to setup, perhaps budget for a proper setup.
Plays great. Brings back 80's memories.

I'm looking for the Whammy bar for this guitar mine didn't come with it and I'm not sure what fits it
In a case like this we recommend having a qualified guitar tech look at the guitar This is not a simple choice. They're are different types.
