I recently bought the natural oak bongos and it sounds amazing! The wood has a great finish that's absolutely gorgeous! I also got a tuning wrench that came with it I didn't even know that I would get it! The wrench has a case for it but it ripped easily after five minutes of opening the box, but I can't complain because it was for free! This is amazing you HAVE to get these!
No worries with this set

I recieved these bongos as a Christmas gift (they were on my wishlist). There was a slight defect in one of the skins when I opened the box. I wasn't sure (being a novice) if this would affect the durablity over time. I knew I wouldn't be playing these as much as a pro, and I wanted the heads to last as long as possible(I de-tension the heads after every session). I called up Guitar Center that day and they sent out a new head! I was very pleased with the attentive customer service. The bongos are easy to tune by putting a wrench on each nut on the posts and tightening or loosening until each head is at your prefered sound. The shells are nice and sturdy and look great! They have a great sound. The heads are very neatly cut natural rawhide and fit snuggly in the rim. Its a great set of bongos for the buck!

I got them for free with the Aspire Conga deal in the paper and I am very pleased with the tone of these freebies. I picked up the combo deal to do acoustic sets with my band and for an experienced kit player but novice hand drum player, I couldn't be happier. With the money saved, I put the extra cash into my stage kit.

I have had these bongos for over a year, and they still play great. They have a great sound for the relatively low price point. They are made durable, with good heads. They also have little rubber feet on the ends of the tuning rods, which give it grip, and makes it so they don't scratch up the surface of the table. Great quality, and I highly recommend these bongos.
