LP Performer Series 2-Piece Conga and Bongo Set with Chrome Hardware Blue Fade

Simply beautiful congas. Striking looks, amazing tone. These are "forever congas", you won't be replacing these anytime soon. A word of caution though, these things are packed awfully and it is almost guaranteed that something will be broken in shipping. And to make matters worse, if one of the congas (or bongos) in the set is damaged, you have to return THE ENTIRE SET and exchange all of them together for a new set - even if the other 2/3 of the combo survived shipping fine. It apparently doesn't matter that each of the instruments has their own SKU and that they are shipped from different locations, you'll still need to return the entire set. So instead consider shipping the items to your nearest GC location and pick them up after inspecting each drum carefully. You'd be surprised how many "new" congas have really badly broken handles, tuning lugs, etc. Not sure if this is unique to LP - but in any case be sure to carefully examine your purchase!

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect balance between quality and performance at an excellent price. Not to mention that the addition of a complimentary set of matching style bongoes, was a no brainier while choosing the set. They're well made with the best materials and the finish is impeccable. As I couldn't find a single ding or a scratch on any of the instruments. But, I wouldn't expect less than perfection from LP anyway. Definitely a great buy, Guitar Center online and phone center made it an easy and pleasant experience. Thank you!!
