LP Performer Series Bongos With Chrome Hardware Green Fade

Description
The LP Performer Series Bongos with Chrome Hardware Natural are crafted from high-quality Siam oak to produce rich tones across the tonal spectrum. Perfect for percussionists of all skill levels, these bongos feature 6 3⁄4" and 8" drumheads and EZ-Curve rims for comfortable playability and full, open sounds. These affordable, professional-grade bongos, complete with chrome-plated hardware for sleek style and durability.
Crafted From Resonant Siam Oak
The LP Performer Series Bongos are constructed from dense Siam oak, a tonewood prized for percussion instruments due to its ability to produce a wide range of tones with complex overtones. The bongos sing in the midrange and crackle with sharp slaps, offering percussionists a versatile set of drums for solo and ensemble playing.
Comfortable EZ-Curve Rims
LP designed these bongos with EZ-Curve rims, which feature a rounded edge for comfortable playability during extended practice or performance sessions. The EZ-Curve rims, combined with the tucked drumheads, create an unimpeded playing surface so percussionists can execute intricate rhythms and rolls with ease.
Durable Chrome Hardware
To provide visual appeal and withstand the rigors of frequent use, LP outfitted the Performer Series Bongos with high-quality chrome hardware, including tension casings, brackets, and wingbolts. The chrome components complement the natural wood grain of the Siam oak shells while resisting corrosion and wear over time.
The Perfect Percussion for All Playing Levels
Whether you're a beginner looking to develop fundamental skills or a professional percussionist seeking an affordable, high-quality set of bongos, the LP Performer Series Bongos with Chrome Hardware Natural are an ideal choice. With their resonant Siam oak shells, comfortable EZ-Curve rims, and durable chrome hardware, these bongos produce exceptional tone and playability for percussionists at any stage of ability.

I recently replaced both heads with remo fyberskin. The r model i think....not sure, but the fit is perfect. They really project with the remo heads!!! Same as the heads for the aspire series. I've had these bongo for a LONG time. They were great with original heads too. I just prefer the lower maintenance of the remo. I like the smaller size of these bongo because i am smaller.

Buyer beware
I usually do great research on any musical instrument i purchase but kinda dropped the ball on this one. After I had bought these I thought I would look around for replacement heads. Well there aren't any! At least none on the web for you to purchase. So i contacted DW drum which owns LP Percussion and I was informed that the replacement heads for the performer series had to be special ordered from an authorized dealer such as Guitar Center. I told the guy I talked to that I really wished I had bought Meinls or Pearls because their heads seemed readily available online without any hassle. So if you are thinking about buying these you better be prepared to special order replacement heads also especially if you need your bongos for any gigs or events you are planning. You have been warned!

I like they are really well made. They seem to last. Sound is great. They required some tuning like any other percussion instrument.
