LP Prism Snare Cajon With Pad Red

Description
The LP Prism snare cajon with Pad Blue combines a birch/poplar soundboard and Eco-Board body to produce a distinct snare slap and deep bass thump, making it an ideal all-purpose Cajon for any musician. The Prism cajon is a triple threat of tone, comfort and style. A hand percussion instrument that provides dynamic rhythmic possibilities.
Smooth Bass and Crisp Snare Tones
The Prism cajon produces smooth bass tones and a crisp snare sound, allowing percussionists to create a variety of rhythms. The birch/poplar soundboard and Eco-Board body provide a resonant timbre with balanced high, mid and low frequencies. Percussionists can achieve soft, subtle sounds as well as loud, punchy tones. The snare wires inside the Cajon produce a sharp "crack" when struck with fingertips or the heel of the hand.
Ergonomic Seat Pad for Hours of Play
The Prism cajon comes with a padded foam seat for comfort during extended practice sessions and performances. The high-density foam seat pad molds to the musician's shape, providing support in all the right places. After a long gig or rehearsal, the percussionist will appreciate the ergonomic and durable seat pad.
Compact Size for Portability
Measuring 19" high, 11" wide and 10" deep, the Prism cajon is sized for portability. Musicians can easily transport this hand percussion instrument between rehearsals, recording sessions and live shows. The Prism cajon's compact footprint allows percussionists to set up and play in tight spaces.
Vibrant Colors to Match Any Setup
The Prism cajon comes in festive colors including blue, green, red and yellow. Musicians can choose a color to match their drum set, band aesthetic or personal style. The vibrant hues make the Prism cajon an eye-catching addition to any drum or percussion rig.

This has a nice bass sound, better sounding than some of the other cajons we tried in the store. Padded seat is an extra bonus. Much nicer than just sitting on the hard top.
Started out great, but then...

Had great sound, but only had a chance to play 2 gigs in the less than 3 months I owned it and the face cracked. Bought a nice case that cost almost as much to keep it safe. Of course there is absolutely no warranty. Even though this isn't an expensive cajon, it should do better than 2 gigs.
Amazing Cajon

I'm new to the Cajon, but not music, I've been playing alto saxophone for 2 years now and have been taping on things for as long as I can remember. I've been wanting a hand percussion instrument for a while and I found the Cajon and bought one. This is amazing. The tones are identifiable and separate, the sound is great, and it's a good addition to my musical prowess.
