Positives - solid hardware and electronics, the finish was nice with a beautiful top, the neck was pretty comfortable with good fretwork. Negatives - Insane amounts of neck-dive, discoloration under the inlays, mysterious popping noise from the neck when tuning, weak pickups.

  • Perfect.

This guitar provided me with everything I needed to further my musical progress. Highly recommend picking up a multiscale or fanned fret instrument- instantly pushes you're limits beyond what they originally were. This thing has the feel of a guitar in the 3,000 dollar range from any of the big brands such as Fender or Gibson, I've been fortunate to play many many high end guitars- but I've never played one that you could easily say out performs this Legator. The second you grab the neck of this instrument you will know what I mean, feels indestructibly assembled, the action is so low without any fret buzz even on the thicker bass strings. The fret board must have been meticulously sanded to level, and I haven't had to retune even once since I received it. When I first noticed the inlays glow in the dark it was an extremely pleasant surprise, that fretboard literally illuminates green in low light settings. The cases Legator puts out are also very solid. In between gig bag and hard shell case- highly innovative and essential for protection and transport, with some minor branding and logos decorating it.

It's an excellent axe, only one tiny problem; the description needs to be updated. The Legator LM-9, at least since February of 2021, now exclusively use Fishman Fluence pickups, not EMGs. I got a model with the Fishmans, but the guitar's description needs to be updated, as now I have to buy the EMG pickups separate if I want Lucas's mighty weapon to sound the same, or at least close.

One of the comments says the guitar doesn't come with ent pickups now is that correct? What kind of pickups does the guitar actually ship with?
