Wanted to connect my mic to my Yamaha PSR S975 keyboard. Salesperson at Guitar Center initially sold me an unbalanced cable and I could get zero sound coming out of them. Went back and salesperson #2 recognized the problem right away. Gave me these as a replacement and voila! Happy so far with the connectors and quality.

    No, this will not be compatible to plug in a guitar. You need a 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch instrument cable.
