      I use the djembe to center and become grounded, connected to the earth and her wildlife. It has been a great investment for me, a beautiful instrument, and a well crafted bag to store it in!

      Great djembe, easy to play, but I still needed to pay $50 more dollars to have it tuned/tightened as it does not come that way. Also, this drum comes from Thailand not Africa.

      The Large is 12". The XL is 13".

      Is this drum come tuned? One review states a $50 fee to tune the drum. Who wants a instrument that is not tuned. Also, I am a novice player: Is this drum a good item for the less advanced player?
