    I needed a Brazilian Samba Shaker as I play in the 2nd Sat. of the month Samba parade. I also play with the Sac. Drum Meetup Group. I needed a shaker that was specifically meant for Brazilian music. Since Brazil won't manufacture or send over any of their instruments,this is the next best thing. I am very pleased with the sound,it cuts through the drums quite nicely. I ordered the med. size,and it seems to be loud enough. Guitar Center was very helpful in offering to order it for me & ship it to my house!!
