    This drum looks and sounds great, and the price is good, but I will probably be returning it. The unavailability of a replacement head is a deal-breaker as far as I'm concerned. As an aggressive, active player, I always carry spare heads for all my drums. After taking delivery of the drum and deciding it was a keeper, I went shopping for a bag and spare head for it. I searched everywhere online, worldwide, and the head came up as out of stock. I called Meinl and was told it was on at least an 8 -10 week backorder with no real eta, and that the drum would not accept heads from other manufacturers.

    This drum is stunning. Has a great low tone. Bag is nice and comes with an extra head. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the engravings aren't polished. There are a couple spots that have sharp spurs. I will take a file and fix that issue but they should have done this at the factory.
