This Byzance Splash Cymbal has a nice spread with great attack. Punchy and washy but still with a traditional feel.

Meinl's Byzance Traditional finish cymbals are handmade in Turkey using the traditional B20 bronze alloy. The profile of the cymbal is hand-hammered into shape. They are also lathed by hand. All this handwork goes into making a true musical instrument.

    I've had the 8" for a year now and it's still holding up just as good as it did from day one. Probably my favorite cymbal on my set. It's a very thin cymbal but very durable. GC says it has a long decay but it really doesn't. It cuts through all my drums and cymbals just fine. Perfect for accents. Chris Adler uses 2 of these on his set. Great cymbal. Definitely recommend it
