This thing is L O U D compared to other chinas that I've had in the past (Zildjian ZBT, Paiste PST5, Wuhan), but what makes it so great is the crashiness of the attack. It feels like it quickly 'washes' right into a quick response, and sounds very musical yet trashy at the same time. Most other chinas that I've tried out in my price range (sub $250) sound far to 'ping-y' on the attack, and don't really 'crash' well. I highly, highly recommend this for players of all abilities. I have the 18".

  • Nice cymbal!
