cymbal stackers are a suprise blessing. they let you mount another cymbal without the added expence of an additional stand. also they take up less space. the only caution is that you must use a smaller cymbal for your second or top cymbal or it may interfear with your main cymbal. This particular stacker is a solution to a dificult problem in that mout modern stands are threaded for an eight MM nut and many older stands are threaded for six MM nuts. This stacker is for the older six MM stands, but is also available in eight MM also It's an intelligent solution to a simple problem. Way to go to build a better mouse trap.
