Bring the unmistakable sound of a cowbell to your drum kit or percussion setup with the Meinl Percussion Headliner Series Cowbell. This 5" cowbell is constructed from powder-coated steel for a resonant, sustained tone and durable build. Its medium mouth opening produces a balanced pitch, ideal for shaping any musical piece. Drummers and percussionists alike will appreciate how this bell can cut through a mix when needed or sit back for more subtle accents.

Powder-Coated Steel for Lasting Tone and Toughness

The Meinl Headliner Cowbell is crafted from black powder-coated steel, which provides a warm, naturally muffled tone with minimal overtones and protects against damage from heavy use. This alloy and finish are built to handle the rigors of touring, studio work, and practice. The bell's balanced timbre also records well and fills both small clubs and large venues with a clear, projecting sound.

Mounts to Any Standard Cymbal or Percussion Arm

Equipped with a 3/8" eye bolt, the Meinl Headliner Cowbell mounts to most standard cymbal arms, percussion rods and drum mounts for easy incorporation into any setup. Position the bell wherever is most comfortable and convenient in your kit or percussion rig. The eye bolt allows for quick changes to the bell's placement as needed between songs or sets.

Ideal for Shaping Music of Any Genre

Whether used to accentuate a Latin groove, funk tune or rock anthem, the Meinl Headliner Cowbell adds a signature sound to your music. Its cutting tone and responsive feel allow percussionists and drummers to nuance its voice for any piece. Add this bell to your arsenal of percussion for an instrument capable of subtlety or aggression.

A Range of Sizes for Any Pitch Preference

The Meinl Headliner Series includes cowbells in sizes from 3" up to 8" for higher or lower pitches. Choose the size that best complements your drum kit or percussion setup and musical needs. Each bell delivers the same high-quality, durable construction and balanced tone that defines the series.

I was shopping at guitar center looking for a cowbell when I saw this one. It looked good for it's price and it seemed pretty sturdy. I purchased the five inch version and it suits my purposes. The only problem I had with it was it didn't screw onto my hi-hat very well so that whenever I hit the cowbell or the hi-hat, it would move or swing. I would reccomend this to someone who mainly wants a cowbell for auxiliary uses not for playing with drumset.
