The Meinl Rattan Caxixi is made in the time honored traditional way with a woven rattan basket body and a coconut shell base. The rattan body produces a soft sound, while the coconut shell base produces a bright, crisp sound. This caxaxi is lightweight, easy to hold, and is well-balanced so that you can shift positions to get a whole variety of sounds, expression, and character.
