The MEINL Wave Drum is a two-headed percussion instrument with two discrete timbres that invoke wholly different moods.  This drum creates soothing sound, reminiscent in its way of a gentle, steady surf with crashing waves. This is achieved with a grouping of sealed steel balls that are placed between the two drumheads. One of the heads is synthetic and the other is made with natural goatskin. A sealable filling port allows you to control the amount of steel balls inside.

    I have the 22 inch Ocean drum and I am so grateful to own this. It is a wonderful addition to my sound bath sessions. All my clients ask about it once their session is over. They request it for all of their sessions. Great sound that is powerful and carries in large rooms. 22 is the best size. The bigger the more sound and the more it sounds like waves and rain.

    This drum is amazing!! All of my clients rave about it; they are disappointed when I don't incorporate it into sound baths and treatments! Sounds just like waves from the ocean. It's intense. There are other brands that make wave drums. You must get Meinl!

    This item does not come with a case. The MEINL Professional Frame Drum Bag 18 in. is the recommended case.
