The products protects the bass great, but the accessory pouch has a ridiculous flap/latch, and fitting a tablet, cord, and strap in there is tight.

I bought this to replace the gig bag the came with my new Fender Performer Jazz Bass. Yes it is much better than the Fender one. The Fender bag was adequate but I wanted more protection. Some of the YouTube reviews on the Mono Sleeve were saying that the Fender tuning pegs were too big for the bag but I have no problem at all. Glad I bought it and would do it again. Love the way the backpack style straps work too with that center snap to hold the shoulder straps together. So comfortable and secure.

  • The best gig bag I've used so far!

Well built, lightweight and easy to load in and out. The pocket has plenty of room for strings, cables, sheet music, and also has a smaller zippered mesh pocket within it for smaller items. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my other bass guitar.

  • The ultimate gig bag.

It fits my bass like a glove. Very high quality product as they say you get what you pay for. For me it is more practical and convenient to carry this bag than my usual hard case which is about the same price range.

I've had this case for probably 5 or 6 months. I use it almost daily and still can't find any noticeable wear. Last night, I was playing a theatre gig and, long story short, my bass, in this bag, took a 15 foot fall from the loft where they put the orchestra. -Not. A. Scratch. I'm sure that basses vary, but for my Fender Precision, this bag did it's job and more. The Insole took the impact energy (it landed tail down) and the little cut for the strap button protected my bass from itself. When it then fell over into the last row of seats, the Headlock worked perfectly. -It was still close to being in tune! It wasn't even scuffed but, even if it was destroyed in the fall, I'd buy another one today.

This is about your best bet. At worst it's a little long.
