Mapex Mapex Armory Series Exotic Studioease 6-Piece Shell Pack With Fast Toms and 22" Bass Drum Emerald Burst

Description
Ready to turn heads at your next gig? The Mapex Armory Series Exotic Studioease 6-piece shell pack with fast toms and a 22" bass drum delivers pro-level tone and striking style in one powerful setup. Featuring hybrid shells made from birch and maple, this drum kit delivers a balanced, versatile tone that adapts beautifully to dynamic playing styles. The addition of exotic veneers elevates its visual appeal, making it a head-turner on any stage or in the studio. At the heart of its performance is the proprietary SONIClear bearing edge, which ensures optimal head-to-shell contact for maximum resonance and effortless tuning. With its Studioease configuration, this shell pack offers a versatile setup that's perfect for drummers seeking clarity and precision in every hit. Whether you're laying down grooves or delivering complex fills, this kit ensures a responsive and expressive drumming sound.
Mapex SONIClear Bearing Edges for Optimized Resonance
The Mapex Armory drum shells feature SONIClear bearing edges, a design innovation that enhances tonal precision and clarity. These edges allow drumheads to sit perfectly flat on the shell, ensuring optimal contact and improved vibration transfer. This results in a fuller, richer tone with enhanced sustain and depth across all drum sizes. Additionally, the SONIClear edges make tuning a breeze even for drummers who prefer lower tunings. The precise engineering of these edges delivers a consistent sound, making each strike on the drumhead feel responsive and dynamic.
Mapex Armory Hybrid Shells for Balanced Tone
This shell pack blends birch and maple to give you the best of both worlds—articulate attack with warm, resonant tone. Birch brings clarity that cuts through the mix, while maple fills it out with smooth, balanced depth. It's a versatile combo that shines in any setting, from tight studio takes to big live performances. Every drum speaks with its own character, yet the full kit plays like one cohesive voice.
Exotic Veneers on the Mapex Armory Shell Pack
With its exotic wood veneers, the Mapex Armory Series shell pack combines sonic excellence with striking visuals. These veneers enhance the natural grain of the drums, creating a high-end look that rivals far more expensive kits. The glossy finish amplifies the visual impact, making this set a standout on any stage. Beyond aesthetics, the premium veneers also contribute to the shells' overall durability and tonal character. Whether in a live setting or studio, these drums command attention with their beauty and performance.
Studioease Configuration on the Mapex Armory Shell Pack
The Studioease setup offers a streamlined configuration, featuring fast toms and a 22" bass drum that cater to modern drumming demands. The fast toms (10" x 7" and 12" x 8") provide quick response and bright attack, while the 14" x 12" and 16" x 14" floor toms deliver deep, resonant tones. The 22" x 18" bass drum offers a powerful low end, anchoring your grooves with authority. Paired with the 14" x 5.5" Tomahawk snare, this configuration ensures a balanced sound across the kit—ideal for drummers who need precision and power.

Armory Series shell pack

Bought my Armory Series shell pack a year ago and am very pleased. Looks and sounds great. Get a lot for the money. No one else has a virgin bass drum at this price point. Bass drum is a cannon. Would have to spend 2 or 3 times as much to get the same features with a different drum maker. I did a lot of research before this purchase and am happy, very happy.
