Mapex Armory Snare Stand, Stands Out

This was to round out my Mapex armory stands, in black. All of my stands are now black, to match the hardware on my kit. This kit does 35-45 shows a year, and the only bad thing about the stands, is the paint WILL get scratched.

Not very secure

I bought this stand just for it's easy ball adjustment, I was excited when I open the box and installed o n my snare, quickly found out that I was re-adjusting my snare constantly. Tried many things for the stand to hold my adjustments but nothing worked. I changed it out from my pearl stand.

I use this stand for my Mapex snare. And the color is black. The same color as my snare and V Drum set.

  • Great buy for the money

It's a great stand for the money. The black finish looks really good too.

I had to loom for several snare stands before finally deciding on this. If you use practice pads, it's always ideal to have an adjustable height & a ball head tilt. The ball head tilt allows greater freedom without have to rotate the whole snare stand compared to a single-plane tilt. It is well-built, nothing flimsy! Everything is tight without any rattling obnoxious noise. The price is just great compared to other expensive brands offering the same functionality & sturdiness.
