collapse expand iconDescription

The Martin 000CJR-10E acoustic-electric cutaway bass guitar is ideal if you love to write and practice on an unplugged bass, but also need the option to plug it in for recording or playing live with your band. Martin Junior Series instruments are slightly smaller than the full-sized models, offering plenty of comfort and portability without sacrificing tone or volume. The 000CJR-10E has a solid spruce top and solid sapele back and sides for thumping bass tones, as well as a fast and comfortable neck for keeping the rhythm section tight. Additional appointments include Fishman Sonitone BT-1 electronics, a Richlite fingerboard and bridge, Gotoh chrome bass tuners and a satin finish. Comes with a gig bag.

Bought for acoustic jam sessions. There were several acoustic basses available. This one seemed the loudest, even compared to some of the full-size ones. Couldn't believe my ears so went back the next day with a sound meter. Sure enough, it measured three decibels louder.than any of the others. Nice looking, good quality feel. Doesn't seem like any corners were cut on making it. Super happy to have it sitting in my house! It's fun to be able to take it out and noodle without plugging into an amp, but being able to amp it up when wanted!

  • Not as good as the competition.

This guitar is LIGHT compared to the gs line, the strings are thicker though. Don't plan on using strap locks without modification, it comes with a strap peg that you have to insert upon receipt of the instrument. The gig bag is flimsier then that of the competition as well.
