To the point, Mogami the best? Sure. Are they without glitch? Uh, no. So I purchased this cable "elsewhere", it goes down. I have the receipt & figure I'll get a replacement right there/then. Again, uh, no. Though I've wanted to be supportive of "elsewhere", I was in a bind & didn't want to wait for it to be repaired. So I called up my local GC, explained the situation, & though I went ahead & purchased a new Mogami cable from them, they took the shorted cable, tested it, shipped me a new cable (in addition to the one I purchased), so now I have a backup. GC made NO fuss about the lifetime warranty & got me fixed up with a backup to boot.

I purchased the Mogami 25' headphone extension cable to run from my Digi 003 rack to my Sony MDR 7506 headphones in my voiceover booth. I previously had a lesser cable which output at a lower volume, and had to be wiggled and bent a certain way in order for the left channel to stop going in and out. Since I am using it, there have been no issues whatsoever. Both channels work all of the time, and the improved output volume and quality is superb. I just bought 2 Mogami 1/4" to XLR cables for my new studio monitors and they sound fantastic! For the hundreds, even thousands of dollars invested in equipment over the years, the price on these cables is a justified investment in my opinion.
