Almost Perfect Sax Strap

I'm 62 and just started back playing the Tenor. I tried other traditional "padded neck straps". Neck was still sore. The Neotech Soft Harness is the answer. It works great in every way. It is fully adjustable. I have a big gut and it adjust great. It takes the weight off your neck and onto your shoulders which are stronger. The padded shoulder straps feel great and you forget they are there. It works while you're standing or sitting. The only negative is that it won't stay adjusted at the proper height. After playing for a while you have to reach down and slide the adjusting clasp back up.. Considering the price I think its a great buy.

The comfort level of the product is great. However, there's no counter weight to help keep the harness seated farther back on the shoulders. Therefore, the bari sax pulls the harness forward and off center. This also causes the horn to drop, making the user reach for the horn, causing strain on the neck and hands. I was not informed if there were other size options available but if not, then this is not appropriate for all heights. If so, then the individual I worked with was also unaware of the options.
Wish I'd bought it years ago

This is a sling for a tenor sax that takes the weight off my neck and distributes it on both shoulders. It is comfortable and fastens to the instrument very securely.
