Corners worn through box. Latches bent and broken from poor packing for shipment. Top lid hinges bent. Access panels are secured with friction from carpet. Zero mounting hardware.. Disappointing..

I like the case. It is sturdy and well built, however I had to cut a hole in the back to accomadate my Behringer mixer. The case in the picture is actually the 6 space case, not the four, so I expected something a little larger after viewing the pic thinking it was the four space and then ordering the six. My power amp takes up 2 spaces. The spaces are small as to fit an EQ. It did not come with any mounting screws so I still made another trip to the music store for those. Althought the top can be locked, the front and back are easily accessable and you could get robbed of your Crown power amps while your cheap behringer board is secured. Just sayin' as with all products these days the case is great but the engineering need to be revamped.

You can't beat the value on this case. The quality of the case is wonderful and the price is reasonable. Very sturdy and should last a long time. I purchased the same case through another vendor 2 years ago for a much higher price. Good thing is that the case has held up after being used every weekend for the last 2 years. This prompted me to purchase another Odyssey case, this time through Guitar Center. I highly advise purchasing this case.

  • Great Case, Great Warranty Service

I actually debated whether or not I should build a rack case myself before purchasing this case. After receving the Odyssey Carpeted Combo Mixer Rack Case shipment, I realized immediately that my carpentry skills would not have come close to the quality of the Odyssey case. There are subtle details to the case which make it sturdy, practical, and worth the value. The carpet has a nice feel and its seams are placed well in the corners. I had an interesting positive experience reagarding warranty service. The latches, which are a good quality, were banged up really badly in shipping. I contacted Odyssey, sent them photos of the damaged latches and the damaged shipping container, and they sent me replacement latches. So, I was very pleased with the warranty service I received from Odyssey because I did not want to return/exchange such a big case to Guitar Center for such a minor issue (even if someone else was going to foot the shipping bill).

  • Great case to house equipment....

Seems to be a very sturdy case. The 2 latches are made so a pad lock can be used to keep the top secure. The front and back panels are large, interchangable, fit snug in the case, and have a convenient hole to run the wires through the back panel, which basically keep all your wires hidden inside the case...great feature if you are doing private parties and weddings. Shipping was very fast. I was able to fit an amp, mixer, conditioner, and monster power unit all in the front mounts, with 1 spot left for a additional component. I also installed a wireless mic receiver in the top mount against the back panel....plenty of space for all your wires in the back of th case. The case gets a little heavy with all equipment installed, but that is the name of the game. Handles on each side are well constructed. I used a smaller similar unit made by Odyssey and was very pleased with how it handled the constant weekend gigs over a period of years....good construction...so I went with another one, just a little bigger.
