I've had this stand for a little over 2 years now with absolutely no problems. The stand is pretty light weight but is built strong. Just keep in mind if you're going to load it up with heavy lights, it's not going to be easy to get up. Once it's up I've had absolutely no problems with it slipping or bending or anything. It's a nice sturdy stand. Highly recommend it.

This stand is great! Very sturdy... it actually surprised me how sturdy it is. I chose this over others because it went up to 12' and it gives me lots of flexibility

Just received this stand and, I must say Better than I expected. Very sturdy, well made, and, as with any stand of this nature do not over tighten any of the knobs. It is not necessary to do so to set the stand at the height you want. With proper care and, use I can see this stand lasting for a long time.

I have been using this stand for 2yrs and not only is it light and easy to set up, it's not cheesy looking. At initial set up I thought it would be top heavy but with the wide stance it balances out well. Great for the price your paying. "Recomended"
