The On-Stage SM7122 is the American classic design that every band student has had for years. It has a 2 section shaft w/cam locking clutch, and folds for easy storage and portability with a spring-loaded trigger release. The two section vertical shaft with cam locking clutch and tilting book plate features make this stand adjustable for sitting or standing positions. The fold out extensions with a six point hinge system can hold three 8.5" x 11" sheets.

    Received the stand and at first glance was exactly what I needed. Felt strong folded up pretty small. But when I extended it I found that one of the tightening pieces was broken. Needed one pretty quick so I ordered another and was going to return first one later. Second one came in with same piece broken. Could be a great stand if they used quality parts. Wouldn't waste your time on it.

    bought this for my spouse. first (low key) performance that night -- she should have realized this stand is adequate and performs just fine for small loads, say maybe a small notebook of music. but, she brought heavy ring-binder notebooks which were a bit too heavy. she likes the color and plans on leaving it at our "2nd home" out in Oregon so she doesn't have to carry all her musical stuff when we go there.

    Yes it does. It comes with the wire holders to pin down the sheet.
