This Round Base Mic Stand has a classic design that has several added features available only from On-Stage Stands, including the 7 lb. sand-cast base that is sturdy enough for road abuse, yet light enough to carry. The MS7201 also features a die-cast zinc clutch and 5/8" - 27 solid threaded upper shaft. This model has a black shaft.

    I took interest in this mic stand as I wanted a stand to hold my replica axl rose microphone from the 90's (it would be very hard for me to replicate his mic stand). When I got this stand it came well packaged in a box that included the black heavy duty base and the black steel threaded pole. This product does not come with a mic clip it will need to be bought separately…. I've been using this for a while now and so far it's held up good!

    I use these to mic a 7-pc drum set at church. They are sturdy and have a small footprint so they are easy to position in tight spots, and the bases are heavy enough to support mics on short booms without worry. These are just all-around good stands for a variety of uses.
