PDP Concept Series maple drums deliver one of the most common requests among drummers—maple shells with premium hardware, a quality finish and a price that doesn't feel inflated. Thanks to research assistance from DW Custom Shop, the shells are built to high-end standards that professionals can trust. In keeping with PDP's reputation for value, the kit is also accessible to serious students who want a kit that will be ready when they get their dream gig. In addition to complete shell packs, PDP has made these floor toms available individually, so drummers can augment their setup to meet their needs.

At the heart of each Concept Series drum is a seven-ply European maple shell. Maple drums are renowned worldwide for the deep, resonant sound that appears on countless studio albums. From there, the shells are kitted out with features developed for high-end DW drums. The True Pitch tension rods are crafted for precise, even tuning across the head. To minimize weight, the floor toms sit on aluminum legs. But it's not all about DW—these drums wears PDP with pride, in part thanks to the throwback dual-turret lugs. The Concept Series honors the company's DW roots while leaning into PDP's own original style.

Pacific Drums and Percussion Limited Warranties

LXE/LX/MX/MXR/CX/SX Drums:
Drum shells and drum hardware are covered for three (3) years. Drum finishes are covered for one (1) year.

FXR/FX/FS/805/EZ Drums:
All FXR, FX, FS, 805 and EZ Series drums and their components are covered for one (1) year.

Pacific Hardware and Pedals:
All PDP Hardware and Pedals are covered for one (1) year.

This warranty protects the original retail purchaser, only. If a covered product or component fails due to a manufacturing or material defect, Pacific will repair or replace the product at no charge. To obtain Warranty service, return the product to your authorized Pacific Drums Dealer along with your original proof of purchase. In the case that the dealer is unable to correct a warranty defect, the dealer will then contact Pacific for further instructions and to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. No shipments will be accepted without an RA number. Any and all shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

This Warranty does not apply to 1) drums purchased from a source other than an authorized Pacific Drums dealer, 2) any owner other than the original purchaser, 3) defects caused by neglect, moisture, extreme temperatures, handling, shipping or use under normal playing conditions, 4) alterations made after the product leaves the factory and 5) drumheads. Pacific Drums and Percussion shall not be liable for incidental, consequential or other damages that may arise as a result of or related to any defect or failure of this product. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Pacific Drums and Percussion's maximum liability pursuant to this warranty is limited to the monetary value of the product that is the subject of the warranty claim.

    This tom (PDP Concept Maple Twisted Ivory) is listed as being 16" by 14". Am I correct in assuming the 14" is the diameter of the drum (head size) and the 16" is the depth of the drum?
