Part of the budget-friendly SE Series, this fresh-faced electric is constructed around a striking mahogany body paired with a maple top and a durable maple neck for extra brightness and snap. A 24-fret rosewood fingerboard provides smooth playability and a natural sound along with iconic PRS Bird inlays. A pair of 85/15 "S" humbuckers deliver signature PRS tone that’s versatile enough to handle everything from rock and country to blues and jazz, while a push/pull tone control allows additional tweaking and coil splits. Resonant Body, Powerful Sound
The PRS SE CE 24 electric is made with a mahogany body and maple top that offer a balance of punch, resonance and warmth, along with an articulation that makes it stand out in any mix. And with a thin flame maple veneer for a visually pleasing element, this instrument will get attention before you even strum a chord. Plus, ergonomic contours and a double cutaway design allow for unhindered upper-fret access and hours of comfortable playability, whether it’s during a gig, rehearsal or recording session.

Maple Neck, Rosewood Fretboard
Featuring a scarfed construction for added durability, the neck of the PRS SE CE 24 is made from maple for a snappy tonal character and enhanced sustain. This is paired with a comfortable 24-fret rosewood fingerboard for smooth, easy movement whether you’re playing first-position chords or high-flying solos, and topped with the iconic, instantly recognizable PRS Bird inlays.

Powerful Pickups
The PRS SE CE 24 electric comes equipped with two 85/15 "S" humbuckers for a bright, high-gain tone that is well-suited for a range of musical styles. These classic, PAF-sounding PRS pickups provide an extended high and low end with clarity and balance, allowing every nuance of your playing to shine through.

Shape Your Sound
Along with a dual humbucker pickup configuration, the PRS SE CE 24 features a push-pull tone control and 3-way pickup switch to provide even more soundscapes to explore. Plus, this SE Series electric includes a PRS tremolo, making it easy to nail dive bombs and whammy attacks or add subtle vibrato to your playing.
No matter how you play, the PRS SE CE 24 gives you the tools to find your own sound and then add to it. The Most Versatile Guitar I've Ever Had
I've had this guitar for almost a year and I love it. I play in a band consisting of 4 pilots and we sometimes fly our light aircraft to gigs. Having a single guitar that is as versatile as this one is ideal for this since I don't have to bring multiple guitars in order to get different sounds. I original bought this to augment my beloved 80's Strat but alas the Strat normally stays at home where it is safe. The PRS has become my main electric for gigging. I have left this guitar stock except I did added strap locks. It does everything I need, is very light, plays very well, and sounds so sweet! I also love the gig bag and the fact that you can wear it like a backpack. Did I mention that the finish and color are fantastic? I love the fact that the front and back of the guitar are different colors. So if you're gigging or just playing at home, get this guitar. If you want a versatile guitar that will meet your needs for almost every situation, this is it.

This is not the top of the line, but this is amazingly built and crafted. This is my first time having a PRS, and I'm in love with this guitar. The feels, the tone, the playability is incomparable. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

I worked at a guitar store for a few years in my 20's and have been playing guitar for 24 years. I love this guitar more than any I have ever owned and better than most I have ever played. It plays, looks, and sounds amazing. Perfect set up from the factory, bought the display model even. 0 issues with performance or esthetically. The pickups are great, the tapped neck sounds like a strat and the tapped bridge sounds like a Tele. Most comfortable neck of all time.

This is a well-made, versatile instrument. The coil tap feature allows for an almost-Fender tone. The turquoise finish is very striking. I've been a fan of bolt-on necks so this guitar is an excellent fit for my style of playing.
Excellent, versatile guitar for the price

Picked up the turquoise one on sale, and for around $550 this is an excellent guitar. Intonation spot on out of the box, frets smooth. I just polished the frets, treated the fingerboard, and put a set of 10s on it (9s are too slinky for me. I added an extra spring to the trem, which brought the action down to perfection with no fret buzz. The finish is perfect, neck is very smooth to play. Comes with a nice padded gig bag. I mainly got it to back up my strat and to retire my 76 Les Paul from gigging - great sounding guitar but it literally weighs 12 lbs. The PRS is much lighter, closer to the start. I love the split coils, it has a lot of versatility and handles both clean and gain well.
