Paiste 900 Series Cymbals with Dylan Elise

Description
Paiste's 900 Series Sound Edge hi-hats combine every drop of their 100+ years of cymbal-making knowledge to deliver articulate, responsive hats that react perfectly to your playing style. The medium top and medium-heavy bottom pair very well with one another. However, the bottom cymbal features additional machine hammering along the edge to create better response and articulation between the top and bottom cymbals. That’s where the Sound Edge gets its name from. Other features include a bright, crisp sound and well-defined chick that cuts through any mix, and a medium to loud volume for tons of dynamic range.

Features
- Bright, crisp and sharp with well-defined chick
- Cutting, energetic open sound
- Hand-hammered bell and bow with hand-trued edges
- Made in Switzerland with over 100 years of cymbal making experience

Well suited for rock, it's not too high or low but has a slightly throaty growl half open. So far I've only played it acoustically--haven't recorded anything with them yet-so not sure how they sound mic'ed but from the natural sound so far it should work well I think. I've grown fond of having clearcoated cymbals now that I know how to properly clean them. Use the Paiste products to do that.
